Clothes
Bring a variety of outfits that fit you well. Choose items in medium to dark tones.
Clothing that is too tight or too loose will not hang properly and cause too many folds or creases. Avoid clothing with
words, logos, stripes, and loud patterns. Dress from head to toe, as some poses may include your feet. Check to
make sure that your undergarments (i.e. straps, etc.) are not showing. Also remember that tan lines and sunburns will
require expensive editing.
Hair
Wear your hair the way
you like it best. If you plan to have a haircut, schedule it two weeks before your session in case you don't like
the results. Guys, shave before the session. Five o'clock shadows (unless they are part of your total look)
cannot be retouched. Bring and use light hair spray to tame loose ends that may catch light and show in a picture.
Make-up
We recommend that you wear your make-up no heavier than you would for
an evening out. Even if you don't normally wear make-up, we recommend a light foundation and light powder to reduce
shine and even out your skin tone. Heavier make-up applied near the end of your photo session is fun for dramatic black
and white photos. Light lipstick/lip gloss is essential for girls/women.
Hands
Trim,
file, and remove old polish from your nails. Apply a light coating of lotion to prevent your skin from looking dry.
